First Year Feature- Jay Killough

Jay Killough || The Career Center

Meet Jay Killough, the next person in our #FirstYearFeature series. Jay is the Director of the University Career Center.

“I think that providing these services is vitally important because the employers come here and recruit to students, and there is not another time in your life where there will be hundreds of employers coming to you. As far as the career coaching and career counseling go, I believe it is invaluable to a student’s academic career because it is a nice compliment. With a college degree, you are gaining technical skills and other skills through your academic work, but what we do is coach the life skills and the soft skills that compliment the academic skills you have gained.” – Jay Killough
